Grey Box Earrings 02

$155.00

These earrings are cast from the fruits of the Grey Box tree (Eucalyptus microcarpa). They have been collected from different parts of NSW and cast into sterling silver using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. This particular fruit was very hard to identify and this is my best guess for the species.

Eucalyptus trees are seen as nurturing trees and are believed to offer healing and protection.

The pair you will receive are the ones pictured laying flat. The earrings pictured are 10mm hoops, but they are also available with 12mm hoops or hooks. Please indicate in the notes section at checkout if you wish to choose a different earring type.

Please allow 2-3 business days for dispatch.

These are some of my favourite pieces still available online! I can’t believe the pine cone necklace (Dawn Redwood) and the Hinoki Cypress leaf earrings are still available! I am tempted to keep them for myself if they don’t go soon haha
I remember at school always being told to draw something before creating it and to work out measurements ect.
I never resonated with that, I’ve always liked going straight from imagining to creating. My design process now involves collecting a
This is my favourite flower bud from the last website update ✨
It was cast from the River Red Gum tree (Eucalyptus camaldulensis)
The River Red Gum fruits were one of the first pairs of earrings I ever made. I had never seen the flower buds before,
